ICEMAN1647545504
My TV in my bedroom just took a dump and now it wont power on anymore (it's about 5 years old anyhow). I don't know what the heck is wrong with it, so does anyone know anyone that can take a look at it from me?
ross
You're probably better off just buying a new tv.

Mark1647545493
Ice, I just fixed a 19in Samsung LCD TV that wouldn't power up buy replacing the canister capacitors on the power supply board. Cost me $15 and about 2hr total work time. Google your make and model number along with the problem your having and I bet you'll find a fix. If you find a canister capacitor with a bulged up top or leaking then it's bad and needs replaced. Worth a shot if you're handy with a screwdriver and a soldering iron.
