Sad to hear.

 

Hate to say it, the burnout in on the limiter may have done it in if your oil was not up to temp. (it takes a while for oil to come to temp-typically my oil is not at 200 by the time I get to work in the V). At idle, it could take 15+ minutes to get to temp.

 

IT is what it is though! Hope the Crank looks ok

Crank's scored and probably trash, but I have another one and, worst case, they're not too hard to come by. I need to get it up to Don so he can start his process to get the new engine put together.
