Alex L.
Ah, ok, I'm familiar with those and have built my own setup before. However, I plan on using Vanjen clamps throughout the charge pipes, so no need for boost braces.

Cordell
You know I think you left a little room unused around the turbo and manifold, should've went bigger. Looking forward to seeing how it works out this year.

miller11386
did you make your chute mount? I plan to need one this year, but I know nothing about how to set one up lol That intake mani looks pretty close to the hood! Just need some 97-98 headlights to finish off the thug life front end
Alex L.
The chute mounts are stupid easy, I can build you one if you'd like. The intake manifold has plenty of clearance, it's the angle of the picture that looks off. I'd love to do a 97-98 head and taillight conversion; someday when I'm not playing with the motor anymore. miller11386
The chute mounts are stupid easy, I can build you one if you'd like. I will hold you to it! I have no idea where to source a chute either, but thats mostly because that stuff is so far down the road its not worth looking at. I dont even have the motor in the car yet! vgsrule
Wow, very cool build! I started skimming through and ended up reading everything. I'm usually not that big into supras but your build is very interesting. and great welding job btw!
Alex L.
Thank you. It's a pretty basic old school setup using old school principles. If others have had luck for years with setups like this, why change?
Main3s
I lurk around just for the project management section! Lovin the build Alex, so you're plan on running that beast in the texas mile?

Alex L.
I'm not sure, check the East Coast Timing Association (ECTA, respectively in acronym form) website and it should have the info there. Be forewarned, their rules are very strict and they're stringent in their enforcement from what I've heard.
miller11386
Just looked it up: 2013 ECTA Race Schedule Posted on September 24, 2012 Racing dates for the 2013 season for the Ohio Mile. April 27-28 June 8-9 July 6-7 Sept 28-29 I would be down to make the July/Sept runs. The shootout is a must go on my list, but other than that im looking for something to do other than terrorize the local tracks
