Few quick updates:

 

Jon @ Moorespeed Performance LLC. did an absolutely masterful job on the cage. I've been absolutely floored with the service I received there and the finished product. Here's a sample of one of the welds (they all look like this):

Me painting. I decided to use Rustoleum's hammer-finish paint in black thanks to some advice from Pakie (Biggu). I was originally going to spray bomb the cage, but after pondering how I was going to mask everything off, brushing the hammer paint on seemed like a much better option:
