Chad is Dead
My girlfriends sister and her boyfriend have done hundreds. So they are have done a bunch around Columbus. If you are on whatever geocache website they are on{where you check your cache's or whatever} they are "boxcarchildren" What are the clues and I'll ask them. wnaplay1647545503
The geocache is called ling-ling very good dog. Its suppose to be around sears at polaris. Apparantly a dogs head was severed after being stolen. It was found by a company that created HAlo in their warehouse upon purchase. Your are suppose to use the poster to decipher the coordinates. N 40° 08.750' W 082° 59.000 http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/lingling.gif
wnaplay1647545503
The coordinates posted will take the cacher to a consumer waste land. Consider them incorrect for the purposes of this geocache. Instead solve the puzzle below for the correct coordinates. This poster was genuine and was found in various spots in a real city. You couldn't make this one up. If you can't find Ling-Ling's head, can you at least find her cache? Use the image to discern the coordinates
oh8sti
So wait, it's really a dogs severed head?
wnaplay1647545503
Its a geocache puzzle. Supposedly the creator of the game Halo is in fact in possession of the actual head. There are easter eggs in their games eluding to this poster. But the geocache itself may have nothing to do with an actual head or it could be that the guy who hid the cache made up a fake dogs body and head as his container, you never know until you find it. It could be a million different things.
bahd-ler
This is a good one... I'll have to sleep one it. If I can, its going to drive me crazy
wnaplay1647545503
I have pulled out all the stops myself. If your suppose to use the poster to discern the coordinates, you must use the phone number somehow right?
bahd-ler
Do you think it interacts with the coordinates? i.e. 08.750 = the eighth word, seventh word ect? I'm missing something, geo's always seem to be harder than what they actually are...

wnaplay1647545503
The commercial wasteland must refer to the mall. The coordinates put you inside sears at polaris.
Sully
The commercial wasteland must refer to the mall. The coordinates put you inside sears at polaris. Or on top of the building, maybe?
wnaplay1647545503
It would most likely have to be an area that doesn't break the law to get to.
Rocky31186
I cache. But I don't dig into the harder ones like you posted. I'll ask a couple people I know and see if they have any advice

wnaplay1647545503
with no real area code, it went nowhere. apparently the story first came to light in a 1990's national lampoons weird true facts book or tv show. the story and the posters content may have nothing to do with finding the cache, it could be just something the guy used for his puzzle and adapted his clues based on it.
