I plan to add a mandarin goby and that will wrap it up I think. I'm very happy with how it's running, other than a little Cyanobacteria which is easily cured.

what would it cost to setup a saltwater aquarium, say 75 gallons? maybe eventually get coral and stuff in it? i researched for awhile getting an octopus, but from what i read, they are next to impossible to keep at least captively. some interesting stories about them climbing out of tanks and such too.

Depends on how far you get into it to be honest. Getting the tank is the cheapest part. People have been successful keeping an octopus, but they are escape artist, so you cannot have ANY opening on your tank...Not even small ones. Also, you cannot have much flow at all due to them getting blown around or sucked into a powerhead. Cool creature, but not much you can add with them that they won't eat. IMO, they would make for a pretty boring tank.

not to thread jack.. but, aww$heet, I have a couple aquariums ive been trying to get rid of. Or if anyone else wants them for that matter. I have a ~30g tank with stand and a 14g biocube with stand. Biocube was used as saltwater so it has all the stuff for that.

Possible, i was thinking more down the road. Ill think on it.

How much for the Biocube setup?

Gabe, get with me and I'll explain the ins and outs, I run a 75g reef tank that's got about $4k into it.
