99FLHRCI
I have the VIN for my Dad's old car. I want to find it and buy it back. It is a 1967 Dodge Coronet. Anyone have a suggestion how to find it? Carfax doesn't work for anything older then 1981.

AngryBMW
Website dead. Very helpful and informative post. I would locate a large internet site dedicated to old Dodges, join, and ask there. I'd imagine they have a lot of sources to locate vehicles. -Marc

He's the king of Mopar authentication and perhaps has come across the VIN at some point? Thanks for the advice but, sadly according to his website he isn't taking any new inquiries due to his current backlog.

ODoyle
Not without probable cause? Try the BMV maybe they can pull history by the VIN
DaddyBuiltRacing
I was just thinking about this the other day myself, I would love to find my dads old 70 Challenger. Dumbass sold it for next to nothing just so my mom couldnt get it in the divorce (rt/se, plum crazy purple for $1200 bucks, yeah that dumb lol). I wonder if he has the vin laying around. BTW this also reminds me of the Chevy commerical

starkmaster03
Not without probable cause? Try the BMV maybe they can pull history by the VIN I know a few years back I had the VIN to a bike that was left at a shop and no one knew the owner but we were able to get the name of the owner off of the BMV site. Given the car would still have to be in Ohio.
evil8
This will help with Ohio: https://ext.dps.state.oh.us/BMVOnlineServices.Public/TitleSearch.aspx
