HotCarl
I'm pretty sure I've seen it at Kroger marketplace in dublin before, i think they carry some organic brands in chicken and beef. I know ive bought the chicken stuff before it was more expensive but wasnt too crazy.
SRTurbo04
is there really a difference in taste at all?
Forrest Gump 9
is there really a difference in taste at all? I had Kobe beef before and the US grass fed beef tastes better. Alot tender, I'm hook on it now. And thank you all for the locations suggestion.
LJ
is there really a difference in taste at all? Yes, if it is true 100% grass fed. Even a lot of beef sold as "grass fed" will be fed a supplement of corn for about 4-8 weeks before slaughter to increase fat content and marbling. Wonderboy
Im pretty sure Delaware Meats uses grass fed. Im not 100% though. My job buys us steaks and burgers from there every 4th of july and they are awesome. From what my boss told me, they kill and butcher on site so its very fresh. LJ
Grass fed longhorn from Dickinson cattle farm is amazing. They have good meat. I know for a fact those cows go on grain for 6 weeks before slaughter though.
RC K9
Try some grass fed Bison. Delicious. +1 I will take Bison over Beef any day. Had a couple bison Ribeyes 2 weeks ago. Delicious medium rare on the grill. It melts in your mouth.
black00ws6
I've bought a 1/4 cow of grass fed twice.. one from old village meats and another from callan longhorn cattle.. has a high up front cost but you get ground beef, roasts, steaks all for the same price (4-6 a pound).. going to whole foods and buying grass fed, you're looking at a min of 5.99 a lb for ground, and up to 12-15 a pound for roasts/steaks.
