The_buster Posted April 6, 2012 Report Share Posted April 6, 2012 I just got a new motor for the honda.. and was wondering if anyone knew anyplace that tested motors. or if anyone knows a way to test a motor any info would be great. I've seen on youtube where they have engine dynos just wondering if theres anything like that in the newark/east columbus area. i would like to make sure its better tha what i have. The_buster Posted April 6, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 6, 2012 I don't know what a leakdown test is... sorry. Compression test definitely, we did turn the cam pulley and it turned fine. There is no crank pulley. The engine is a 91 so I have to steal parts from mine. The timing belt was replaced as well as tensioner and gasket set top to bottom before the guy bought it.
