Cordell
In another 20 years, people will realize that we're living in the second coming of the muscle car era right now. It started in the late 90s, and I think its getting ready to peak in a few more years.

craig71188
From the article: Quantifying speed can be tricky. Automakers have been steering clear of advertising a car’s top speed for legal reasons, explains Bruce Harrison, a research director at IHS Automotive. So what about zero-to-60 times? That measures acceleration, and the significance of that number is waning, some experts say. Better headline: Top 10 Power to Weight Ratio Vehicles for under $50K (It's a good place to start) Forbes doesn't know waht a road test is apparently.... KentStateTsi
They base it off of power to weight ratio.....ricer math. Not sure about seriousness. Ricer math? Does this fall along the lines of yuppie math and redneck math?
nurkvinny
Ha: "So what’s the best way to determine a car’s speed? Horsepower and weight: the lower the ratio of power to curb weight, the faster the car, experts say. Based on that metric, researchers at Edmunds.com helped us determine the fastest cars under $50,000." That's as bad as dyno racing.

El Karacho1647545492
They base it off of power to weight ratio.....ricer math. Ricer math is HP/Liter, genius. HP/LB (or LB/HP, whichever you prefer) is racing math. Thats why [non Danny Bahar] Lotuses are awesome track cars.
