Turbotrio
I got stuck baby-sitting all day so while making lunch for the kids I looked out the window and thought I saw a small deer but quickly noticed it walking / moving oddly. Here are a few pics: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7277/6957448782_c2ae4286c6_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8163/6957449788_1d1487affc_c.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7211/7103521003_44ba937bcf_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8011/7103523945_68e5624cf5_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8142/6957456316_b3edd136e4_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8021/7103528693_5096d08a23_c.jpg

Guess I'm a little diferent when it comes to animals but I have a "if it doesn't bother me it's alright in my book" thought when it comes to all wildlife. I'm not going to shoot it just to do it. It would have to bring a negative aspect into my life or if I would have to shoot it to survive type of deal. No "just for funzies" shooting for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
twistedfocus1647545489
I'd have chased him down like a boss. He'd be my new dog, Toby.
KillJoy
Depending on the #'s in the area, and their local impact, 'yotes are good to keep around. They help with rodent control. And, DAMN! That first pic is a winner! KillJoy

I will never understand the appeal of hunting unless you eat it, or is/will cause you harm. Is it really a challenge to kill a deer, coyote, etc with a modern high powered rifle? Honestly? Pussy, fight it with your bare hands, thats worth bragging to your hill billy friends about... These are general statements, not directed at the OP. Mojoe
Yup, my new Nikon scope would shoot that quite well. Can't wait to zoom in. Great shots Jeff
Turbotrio
Thanks He hadn't done the little "Jump" thing at all so it was just lucky timing since the two I posted were the only two shots I got of him in the air. It appeared he did get a mouse on that attempt as the next shot was of him chewing on something. Jeff
TTQ B4U
I 100% agree. I will never understand the appeal of hunting unless you eat it, or is/will cause you harm. We live in the burbs but we have seen a couple Yote's around here as they come over from Brookside's country Club. However, they aren't much of a threat to my kids or dogs. However, where Jeff is at they might be more so given he's in the heart of their domain and the number is likely greater. In terms of hunting, all I've been doing lately is knocking out squirrls and rabbits. Bagged a pretty good sized thumper about an hour ago in my yard as that little bastard was digging holes in the grass that I just spent time and money on. That's two rabbits in one weekend and I know there's at least one more.
