Lost1888
Did you screw in the screws to use them for leverage? Just make sure you don't start to compress the bushing or you will have more trouble than you are already.
cmoosego
try a lube of some sort to help ease them into the holes.... seriously it worked when i was putting rubber grommets on my bike... I used a silicone spray...
gixxie750
+1 lost. Also use some dish soap as lube.

Lost1888
Yeah, Yeah use a little spit and stick it in the hole!
magley64
if it were me, I'd inspect the holes compared to the stock screen...if they're smaller, they're smaller, drill them out, or exnay the bushings...if they are the same size or very close, try the lube route...a windscreen shouldn't give you much trouble... smashweights
yeah the bushings were a bit smashed from tightening the screen on previously so i shaved them down with a razorblade and they fit well enough.

Squidy
I just got my hotbodies windscreen yesterday and had a heck of a time for a bit... Then I just put as much as I could of the rubber and then gently pushed the rest in with an average sized Phillips screwdriver I had sitting right in front of me. Problem solved
