RIP to a fallen racer

My father and another family friend raced with this guy for years "little" richard moore. Very nice guy and it was a very bad scene. Guard rail went through the car and it was such a hard hit that it threw the battery over 200 feet away onto the return road.

Thompson is a safe track, but this just goes to show anything can happen. After this I really don't know if I will race at a track that has a majority of these metal guard rails down track.

sounds like he went out doing something he enjoyed (assuming as it sounds like he was a long time racer). sorry to hear though.

My dad and I talked about this at length today. One of our good family friends was there and to be honest when the news hit the grapevine we thought it was him (he drives an orange mopar too). Our friend saw the aftermath first hand and was very shaken, and this is not a guy that gets emotional easy.

This thread on the bullet is kind of a rough read due to the content. It really has made me realize how short life really is and maybe it was time for a change.
