Before I get flamed...:)

This would be kept in a condo in FL, to be used instead of renting a car everytime we're down there.

I've driven rental Sebrings before...body is as stiff as a week-old salad...but especially in FL you can't beat 2002-2005 JXi convertibles for less than $6k well-optioned and relatively low miles...curious about anyone owning one on here...

I wouldn't buy one anytime soon, but in some recreational car searches it checks off a lot of boxes for Florida cruising for notta lotta dough...

How frequently would you get a rental? My thinking is that if you get a Sebring for $5k, how many times renting would it take to even out? If the amount isn't what you would likely use then I would just stick with rentals which will be much nicer than a Sebring.

New plan:

1) Await next-gen 2013/14 4-door Jeep Wrangler diesel 6-speed manual

2) Buy it, rock it for 20+years

3) Semi-retire to FL condo once kids go through college

4) Bring classic, one-owner diesel Wrangler with me.

5) Win at life.
