Aluminum exhaust? I thought aluminum doesnt work for exhaust tubing as its melting point is so low and will warp from the hot exhaust. Or is this like Aluminized Steel?

Aluminized steel wouldn't weld like that.

Melting point if aluminum is 1200 degrees, although it oxides rather quickly and aluminum oxide has a melting temp of 3700+.

Nice exhaust and sweet shop.

Pham and multiple others have been running aluminum with great success....we'll see how it lasts.

I ran a 4" aluminum turbo back for several years, supported well it holds up. I've done a bunch of aluminum downpipes for different cars (mostly short runs on race cars) and never had an issue. Well, one issue when a turbine wheel came apart and shredded the downpipe. :D My new setup with have a fender exit 5" aluminum downpipe.

When I ran it nobody made a muffler so I had to make my own, the vibrant one looks good!

Not my dream awd turbo lsx sedan but damn close enough love this car... Do you see any major restriction on the suspension/ chassis for the track?

Its RWD. :lolguy: I think itll do pretty well with a good LSD and coilovers this winter.

Excellent build man, very clean. The welds on that exhaust are pretty sexy too.

You can thank Jon Moore, dude is a G

Exhaust is hot hot hot! Very stout build quality.

:fuckyeah:

I was running AL back in 2003 when it was really "different".

Looks great- Antwon do you have or have you run it without the muff? I have an un-muffed' 3.5 AL on t he Colt right now, I would be interested to hear the difference!
