BIGGU
So at the track yesterday coming off the track I noticed that it was super hard to turn right but it was very easy to turn left. I figured it might have been just a bubble in the steering line so I drained the fluid and re bled the system and its still doing it. cliffs turning right it seems like there is no powersteering at all but turning left is perfectly fine. Is it the steering rack on the powersteering pump? Rack was replaced last year with a re manufactured unit so it has a warranty and I have a replacement on order but Id hate to replace it only to find out its the actual pump itself. any ideas? its for my 92 SC300, front steering knuckles were chopped and shortened, tie rods were dropped to fix steering geomatry and the tie rods have spacers in them to give a lot of angle. TurboRust
i would go with rack over pump.. i'd think pump would do it both directions
