zeitgeist57
I'm on the advisory board for the school at my church, and they own/operate 3 short buses that are based on '04-'05 Chevy 3500-frame vans. They are gas, and have Carrier A/C units on the short bodies. Is anyone on the board able to service the GM powertrains, as well as the repair needs of the bus bodies? Once the ladies that run the school learned that I'm a car nut, they opened up about the problems they've had since day 1... The company that sold them the buses, TESCO, basically sold and dropped them; no follow-up service whatsoever. Before joining the advisory board, these poor ladies running the school were getting OK service from a shop, but now all three are approaching 50k miles and they are worried about getting shafted on service. They are just not equipped to manage the school and have the knowledge to not get overcharged/underserviced by the shop. In addition, the growth of the church (which shares use of the church-school buses) a 4th bus is needed. Any help in managing this small but important fleet of buses better would be appreciated. Thanks!

zeitgeist57
Bringing this back up, as my board meeting is tomorrow. Tom, would love your contact. The buses are 2003 Chevy platforms, 6.0L gas engines.
zeitgeist57
Oddly enough...exactly one year later... Board meeting was tonight, and bus maintenance was once again brought up. In addition to shops (Thanks to Rick for Skip's Service Center on McKinley...) would also like anyone who can do some servicing on-location at the church if possible. Thanks again, CR!
