this is the device. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VWU79I/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00

one customer review stated that he used toshiba bluetooth stack, but even that isnt recognizing that i have the dongle plugged in.

when searching for a driver windows refers me to this webiste to manually make a download...

http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php

i go there and download the program and it still does not recognize that the dongle is plugged in. It just keep "searching" for it.

I would say that its a bunk piece of hardware but the Bluesoliel v8 trial did actually work!

so here is the weirdest thing...my dongle will allow my computer to recognise my bluetooth devise (in this case its a d100 creative speaker). It will temporarily sink but isnt able to "set up audio device".

its almost like the program cant download the proper files so it can fully sink?

the toshiba stack drivers are from 2010 (probably before my devise hit the market)....

I just noticed something

"Supported profiles : networking, Dial-up, Fax, LAN access , and Headset."

It looks like that speaker requires A2DP and that adapter does not look like it has that built in.

With the bluesoleil software did the speaker work?

Well I am running out of ideas. You could try checking the Device Manager and checking the properties of the bluetooth adapter to see who the manufacture is and trying drivers from them.

I did a Google search and found a few videos for cracks.

I don't know how legit these are so if there are any bad things embedded then don't get mad at me.

Here is one example I found.
