unfunnyryan
200 miles from now will you link us to the post where its missing a piston?
thorne
Sure if its happens. I made 370whp out of a 91 ej22e so I think if they built the modern pistons at a similar quality level it will hold.
Berto
Nice peak, but virtually no power under the curve. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yep. Sure if its happens. I made 370whp out of a 91 ej22e so I think if they built the modern pistons at a similar quality level it will hold. You'd be surprised. While it is modern technology there is also an ever increasing demand for cost reduction.

wagner
I love the fact that people are tweaking these cars, because anytime you have people willing to mess with a platform it is good for any and all car people. Now, what is the breaking point? I picture the following being said soon: " It was on a bitchin pass until it let go"

Isn't Visconti tuning both of them?

EssFo
Should be good for mid 120 traps. That could hurt some feelings.
Draco-REX
Should be good for mid 120 traps. That could hurt some feelings. You should go on Passtimes. They recently posted some times up now that it has a clutch that won't let go. It's having traction issues. Slow for a lot of you guys, but fast for a stock engine/trans car that came from the factory with only 200hp. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=13919&d=1346274590 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=13926&d=1346280095

Draco-REX
Just to make it more interesting....... Happy reading Draco http://www.roadraceautox.com/showthread.php?t=41133 That was funny. One off-hand comment and the thread went WAY off track. Reminds me of CR. Though the OP's mention of 18" wheels was my doing. I started a thread on the Vorshlag forum tossing wheels sizes and tire weights around. They're pretty opinionated over there.
