2003 Subaru WRX wagon

2003 Subaru Impreza Wrx AWD 2.0l Turbo.

5 speed

Has 216k

I drive this car 80+ miles a day.

 

Car has a fresh oil change and fuel filter. New radiator and coolant flush, New NGK spark plugs, and also a new Denso air fuel sensor. Newer clutch, throwout bearing and pressure plate.

17 inch oz rally wheels wrapped in Newer yokahoma tires. All power options, windows, locks, mirrors, 6 disc cd changer etc..

Some aftermarket stuff, manual boost controller, full 3 inch exhaust and super BOV.

 

Kbb is over $7300

 

Only issue it has is a intermittent mis on cyl 4. After driving it for 2 days I can only get it to store a pending code ( p0104)

Doesnt burn or leak anything.

I would be interested in full trades but that "partial miss" is srs shit when ur car is 216k miles deep. tell me more about it and we might be able to work something out.

 

Well that is part of the reason I have it priced low also high miles scare people. It doesnt leak or burn anything. On a cold start its fine after it warms up it will have a slight mis. Sometimes won't even trigger the cel. It's most noticable at idle. Car does have a bov and opens exhaust I have been told this is what can be causing the issue as it is not tuned for those mods and its cyl 4 because how the manifolds are routed from the factory cyl4 burns the hottest so its the most likely to act up. It still pulls and builds boost fine. You are more than welcome to see what I am talking about in person.

code is all MAF related. Probably needs a cleaning. Worst case a replacement.

 

I will pull it off and clean it tom. I don't know a ton about subaru but i know they don't like air mods without a tune. I drive the car from reynoldsburg to sawmill to canal back to retnoldsburg without a issue. I would drive it anywhere without hesitation. Underside is rust free and dry

Why dont you have somebody tune it and see if it fixes the problem. PM Thorne on here and he might just toss on a stage 1 tune for free if you ask nicely

 

Not sure if you could tune the stock ecu without a standalone or something. Like i said im not a subaru giu and would really loke to just move on. If someone can fix it and smooth it out they would have a good awd daily.

I got a 2001 chevy silverado z71 5.3l v8 4X4 AUTO ext cab stepside. power everything. loaded with everything but leather. 215k miles. I drive it everyday and it runs great. was a 1 owner til i bought it as my work truck. no miss's or hiss's. Has towing package

 

Only aftermarket on it is a good sounding flowmaster exhaust.

 

Pros:

runs well

v8

4x4

loaded

ext cab.

 

Cons:

It has rust on the rockers below the doors but you can always replace them. Never bothered me.

got a few dents,scratches but nothing crazy. has a small piece of fiberglass missing on the driver side truck bed under 1 step because of a deer. can't even notice it til your up close.

 

This is one very reliable work truck. It cleans up nice for what it is.
