Lauren Posted September 18, 2012 Report Share Posted September 18, 2012 i loved my 06 mcs. it was my dd for a year. never had a single problem with it, got great gas mileage. drove it from florida, to ohio to philly to boston and it was comfy for the long haul. they handle fucking great and it really shined in the mountains of west virginia and PA. i just needed something larger so i got rid of it. i wouldnt hesitate to pick one up as a fun dd or toy. Since then, when I see a nicely modded one, it puts a smile on my face. Fun DD material, but I'd only consider one after about 6-8 years when you might find a low-mile turbo S or JCW for under $10k... I too miss my '89 Civic Hatchback...there is something simple and really fun about driving a lightweight hatch with go-kart handling.
