KillJoy
Walther P22 - ~$370 Browning 1911 22 Compact - ~$600 Both are light (under 16oz unloaded). Both have Threaded Barrels. Both are smaller in size. The Browning's internals are just scaled down 1911 Components. If prices were equal (or closer), which would you get, and why? 1fast5gp
Ruger Sr22 pistol. Much better than both guns and cheaper. The my SR22 pistol will eat just about any ammo. The browning 1911-22 has jam issues and the Walther P22 has a ton of problems including FTF with certain ammo and the slide cracking. The browning 1911-22 is a nice gun, but I don't think it's worth the price. If you can get one for similar price as the SR22 pistol which is 300 from vances, then sell it and bug the ruger.. But I would take the browning over the walther. The walther is junk it's made by Umarex.
supldys
I shot the walther once, its a small cheap plinker, I wouldnt expect much else from it. Did jam almost once per clip, but it wasnt my gun and may have had other problems, don't know. Never shot the ruger or the browning.
BloodRed
I have one of the P22's. Great little range gun. Back when I bought mine new, it was only $250. P22's are very picky about the ammo you can use. Each one is different. Tried many different brands of ammo and finally found one that feeds and cycles without any issues. harmonda
I have a P22 with the barrel weight extension. FTFs are fairly common on it. But once you find the right ammo you are good. Lots of neat little features. Was $318 when I bought it configured as it sits.

They shoot great and feel good in the hand.

Otis Nice
Never had a prob with the P22 we had. That being said, I'd like to try out the SR22. $600 for a .22 pistol? :dumb::dumb::dumb: One :dumb: wasn't enough.
RedRocket1647545505
I'd take a Ruger 22/45 over all over all of them. Throw a can and a red dot on it and call it done.
