As it has been said before, I dont look at them as a pest. I look at them as animals just trying to survive like we do. Just making it suffer while he thinks it was cool to take pics of it while shooting/hitting it with shit just to think we would approve. I wish I could've done the same thing to him. No part of me thought, oh shit, I need to kill it so I feel like I have control over some part of my life or Oh noes! It's coming to kill me! It's one thing if the animal is exhibiting obvious signs of disease, but that's what the information below is for. You shouldn't be engaging or improperly disposing of the animal if that's the case anyway. Final bit of advice: There are mulitple organizations, both public and private, who will take care of any wild animal problems you have for free. That includes ME. I'm sure I'll catch flak for this emotionally charged post. So be it. I don't consider myself a Hippy or anything but I agree 100% with this. Little dude was just trying to survive like you, but his life is 300% harder. I just don't have it in me to hurt an innocent creature. A human burglar though..:dumb: this... scott you are an idiot. Hell, a lion doesn't needlessly kill the creatures that rummage around in his feces to survive, he respects the simple system around him. Kill to eat, to survive. Most of these "lesser" creatures find a natural harmony and don't just randomly kill small creatures than themselves for no reason. All those things you listed above can be easily solved witha little responsibility and care for life you share on this planet. I've lived in the deep f'n woods and I've lived in LA where the coyotes literally come into the city. I've had almost zero issues with wild animals getting in my stuff or causing issues with my pets because I take personal responsibility to minimize such occurences.
