They had a min buy in of 1k on the 5/25 blinds. I can't wait to go to the poker room. I don't know anyone that will even bring 300 to a table once a week to play poker. I get pissed whenever anyone - especially someone sitting at a low limit table - gets mad at another player for "making a bad call" or "a dumb bet." You want to get all bent out of shape over a poker game? Then go take your shit to the $5000 buy in NL table. Obviously, you're that important and know that much about poker that this little $1-2 game is far beneath you. Douchebags. This reminds me of a time when my dad was playing in a tourney at one of the river boats. He was doing a lot of bluffing and really mixing up his game. People around the table were all shaking there heads and mumbling to themselves. He was having a good time just messing with a few of them because they started to have an attitude , even started showing cards when he had good hands. He ended up in second place. I never really liked playing tourneys at the casinos because you just do not know who you have sitting beside you. The drunk that spills is beer all over the table , the expert that thinks he knows it all, and the all to serious . I like to talk and joke around a little if not it is a boring long game. If you're an accurate counter, the good news is that penetration is about 75%, they allow mid-shoe entry, bet spread $25-1000, and it looks as though backcounting is being tolerated (at least for now). I've heard the dealers are pretty slow and are making mistakes, so stay alert. Perhaps a CR group should plan a raid there in a month or two? Our dealer nearly gave up doing simple math when changing colors and said, "I'm over it already" to her floor boss. The poker room looks very nice. It's separated from the rest of the casino, right next to the cash out location. Flat screens hanging everywhere. I'll definitely visit the poker room more often.
