Does anyone know anything about these rubber boots ? I only paid 5 bucks for them. Cheap ass right. Anyway they fit me pretty good and they look to be well made with some type of inner insulation. I thought they would be good for snow and water protection. They look like they have been worn one time and then put away.

Those are Mickey Mouse boots. One of 3 great innovations put into use from the Korean war. The other two being the flack jacket and Helo assault.

There should be a air valve or stem on them somewhere.

Should you decide you don't want them, please let me know. For that boot, that's my size.

Thanks for the info Joe and if I decide I do not like them I will pass them on to you. I also got a nice heavy duty tacky green jacket and some nautica marine drill pants today. Both like new never worn. When ever I am in the area and have time I stop in the Volunteers of America store on henderson rd. Never know what you might find.

Those boots are warm and waterproof but do not let moisture in or out so theres no place for sweat to go. If you use them take extra pairs of dry socks. My dad's Marine unit borrowed some of these from the Army during the Korean War. He was a Navy Corpsman ( USMC gets their medics from the Navy) and he told me treated trenchfoot and foot funk cases when no dry socks were around and you wore them for a long time .
