Heard good things about Hite's, I just do them myself.

I didn't know HITE did carbs... They are great for starters/solenoids/alternators.... thanks!

I will check out Chris's as well thanks..

I just need someone to help me identify without list number (milled choke horn) if its a 650 or 700 double pumper. There is a guy in florida my dad goes to that says he can do it but we have to ship it down there first. Holley says now that the choke is milled its a piece of junk anyways and doesn't want to hear about it

I am going to use it is a practice carb for my blowthrough modifications to see how it goes before I mess with the HP 750 that is on there now. It needs a baseplate and there is a different one for the 650 and 700. I have a 650 baseplate and metering blocks on the 750 as it was a 650 dp the previous owner converted using the holley hp main body upgrade kit.

Measure the throttle blades! And venturi

I can't accurately, unless you know a trick...?

The boosters are in the way and there is only supposedly a 1/16" difference. At the bottom of the venturis they are all the same from 650 to 850 (if I had a baseplate, supposedly the butterflies are the same as well)... I thought I could borrow a pipette from a research lab and knew the volumes I could cc them but I would have to seal to something first (not to mention any fuel/vacuum ports) and the volume displaced by the boosters would be difficult to calculate unless I could get a spare one.
