Littleguy Posted January 4, 2013 Report Share Posted January 4, 2013 They did say that the BRZ chassis could handle a lot more power, since they were flat out through a lot of sections, while the Genesis Coupe ran about the same times as last year, even though it has ~40 more HP now. Posted January 4, 2013 Report Share Posted January 4, 2013 It did say in the video that they allowed the brands to send a team/crew with there vehicle for tuning this year so.....not real surprised if Ferrari or any of the others had ringers... Yes, they bring fully supported crews and only let the car out after its fully prepped to dominate the specific course it is running on. Either way, the 458 is sexy as hell. Yes...that's the very reason they banned journalist Chris Harris from driving or reviewing any of their cars because he called them out on always sending ringers to road tests then the "real deal" the consumer got was much less impressive. Dr. Apex Posted January 5, 2013 Report Share Posted January 5, 2013 Well unless they used slicks or something with those lap times the ZL1 wouldn't drop much if it were a ringer, very impressive company to be in. Those times are stunning by the 458 and ZL1, a lot of cars don't run that track that fast on the normal course layout and this is the full on grand course!!
