Mace1647545504
My wife has been on me since the shooting in Ct, and i have poo pooed her. So i plan to go shooting tomorrow and WTF...there is barely anything on the shelves. I have about 3 boxes of 9 and a few boxes of 380s but after that I am done. Hell I couldn't even find the bulk 22 to shoot in my GSG, no 45s or 357. I called aimhi and they are limiting 357 to 2 boxes but no 22s REALLY 22s !!!!!!!!! I am done with the rant O yea i have been online i know it would be too late for tomorrow but i am now looking forward to a later date BUT the worst thing is my wife saying I told you so!!!!!!!!! mace
nurkvinny
I've had zero problems finding 45s or 9s. It's the price that is the suck. Bulk 22 has been a bitch on and off. Where did you look? (Oh yeah, and have you not read any gun threads in the last couple months???)

Yeah online is basically out of stock most places but local isn't too bad except .22, at least the ammo I need is out of stock online. Rocky31186
Most places have been low on ammo for awhile. A friend went to ohio valley friday and said they had ammo back in stock.
macpyro2
.22 is out because there is no real good method to reloading them or the need for expensive reloading equipment. Basically have to buy new every time you want to shoot. With its capability of being one of the better survival rifle round(flame suit) they where bought up quickly. I bought 9, 40 and 7.62x54r at a relatively decent price in Delaware.
starkmaster03
I bought a 45 last week at Buckeye and they had all sorts of ammo. I passed on the deal 18.99 per 50 and then found out it was a good deal. I'm going to go shoot tomorrow so will probably go back out there. I am thinking about dumping my ammo pile to take advantage of these dumbasses that are jacking up the price of ammo by buying it all up at really high prices. And had you been on here, where you have come to rant, you would have seen we have been talking about this for weeks. I've had posts out for months about how much ammo to keep on hand. But, fortunately you can rack this up as a learning experience and get what you can now. It will just cost you more than had you kept a good supply on hand. To sumerize what came out of the ammo thread, most would agree, 1000 rounds per gun to be kept on hand. Good luck to you.
ross
It's not much, but I have 28 rounds of 380 blazer brass left over since I sold my pk380. I'm not going to have another 380 any time soon so I'll let it go if anyone wants it.
BloodRed
Was going to the range a couple weeks ago with some friends and took 4 stops at different stores to find all the ammo we needed except for 22. All 4 shops were out of 22, but was able to buy some 22 ammo when I was at the OVO range. They had tons of it sitting on the shelves. madpony
I decided to start reloading, got everything for the 9mm except primers. Anyone want to trade primers? I have 2,000 #400 CCI to trade for 2,000 #500 small pistol, or if you don't want the primers, I have some 9mm factory ammo....
Lustalbert
Just picked up 3 440rd cans of 7.62x54r from AIM surplus for $79 a can. They still have some stuff at reasonable prices.
