99StockGT
Like I said it came with Firehawks on it origionally and with this thing I think staying purely stock is key. It barely gets driven as is and SELDOM anything hard enough to require real grip. 19000 miles the damn tires have ROTTED off it before they were burnt up...twice
Mr. Jones
Then put some cheap ass tires on it lol wow.

Mr. Jones
May I refer back to the non-walmart tires? Mmmm street slicks DO sound yummy though To summarize: You want tires that: * "good for 160+" * "look good" For a truck that: * Sits most of it's life. * Is never driven hard or aggressively. * Has tires rot off due to above sitting. Is that about right?

99StockGT
Yep you've got it about right. Occassional high speed use of crappy tires=bad things happen. Higher end tires look better all glossed up and sitting pretty in a parking lot. And yes I have rotted off probably close to $2000 in tires on this thing already. Am I the only one who's spent money on a vanity part that I would never TRUELY put to hard use but will stubbornly purchase it anyway? Come on Man! 99StockGT
Let's say for the sake of arguement that I WERE to want something more of a drag/launch tire..obviously would have to be DOT for road use. But what am I looking at if I go that direction?
POS VETT
TireRack line up should give you some ideas about availability. I'm clueless about drag radials.

99StockGT
Lol yes it is, I linked those that way as they were uploaded in high res didn't want to bog down the thread if they tried to load in full res. And yes that's water to air factory. Great little truck, blast to drive but terrifying in the same breath. Good and bad thing about driving "older" and rare some of the stuff on these is REALLY tough to find if you need parts. Please excuse the pictures, she'll be in pertier shape come car shows this spring/summer
