XChris1632X
The 41-105 ac delco is the factory plug correct? Anytime I have been away and my wife had the car worked on I don't recall ever having plugs done but I found 41-981s in it. Anyone have any clues as to why? It's got 100k on it and I was doing plugs for what I thought would he the first time. I have personally had the car in my possession since 55k without leaving. I didn't think someone would try to have my wife replace then before that. She doesn't even have the slightest idea.
STEVE-O
I assume you bought it new then? Maybe dealer replaced them for some reason before the sale? Maybe they superceeded numbers?
Cordell
I would bet superceded numbers. GM does that a lot.
XChris1632X
Yes bought it new. I considered superceded numbers but I could find nothing on the previous number anywhere. You would think there would be something floating around that gives these numbers previously before they supercede them.
Acec
Yes your car would take the 41-105 ( iridium ) plugs. The ACD # you have in it updates to a 41-103 ( not sure of application , catalog doesn't cross reference that # )
KKND385
Your car takes the 41-105 which the gm part # is 12607280. For 2005-2006 2.2 L61 motors. The 41-981 changes to the 41-103 whick is part # 12625058 and is for years 2009-2010 cobalts with the 2.2H motor. Wrong plugs.
