TimTaylor751647545500
Spent 8 hours on a river float on Saturday and ended up with 8 smallies and around 10 rock bass. I mainly lake fish, and this was one of my first times out river fishing, but had a great time and learned a lot from a fellow OGFer about technique and equipment. ansonivan
Taking the kid out tomorrow morning for some bank fishing for pan fish. Thinking of highbanks or alum creek behind the dam. Any chance of bites given the heat and recent rain?
ansonivan
Skunked at Alum Creek and Antrim, most likely because I have zero patience.
Putty
I went Saturday morning to a pond just off Alum creek. It began to rain like crazy! Fish started biting...Pulled in about two 10 to 12lb cats. A small mouth. Then as I was pulling a cat off my line...something grabbed my other line and snatched the whole fucking pole in the water faster than I could even grab it. Right on the corner there, under the bridge, just off Olentangy....good call. Bet that's right.

RedRocket1647545505
Just got back for fishing in the Upper Peninsula with my friend and his dad. We didn't do too bad overall, but every fish was hard-fought to get; we put in some serious hours. Last night of the trip I managed to land this thing within the first 5 minutes of trolling: 7lb, 9.5oz, 28" http://i.imgur.com/iyjOVJ5.jpg Here's a little bit better picture of my friend holding it: http://i.imgur.com/V3EMb1F.jpg
