We were finishing up breakfast yesterday when I spotted this guy out the window searching for breakfast himself:

Very cool. Glad your first instinct wasnt the other kind of shooting.

 

Keeps mice out of my house :)

 

I told the guy that does hunt back there that for every one he shoots he has to bring in 3 or 4 owls to make up the difference in the # of rodents eaten.

Pretty cool, man. And a good mentality about it all, as well. I've lived in many places, country and city, we're I've had to deal directly or indirectly with them. In all my years, I've only had a problem one time. And at that time, I was a ways out in the woods near a den with one of my dogs. (I hadn't realized it at the time.) If they're not being a threat, let them be.
