TimTaylor751647545500
In need of building a metal fab table for welding projects. I've heard Columbus Pipe & Equipment is a good place to purchase square/rectangle stock, but wanted to see if anyone else had any other suggestions. Thanks. Green Bastard
How much do you need and what size?
TimTaylor751647545500
Probably gonna go with a 1/8" workbench surface, so I would think 1 - 1.5" would be substantial enough for support.
xlr8tn
if you find any at a halfway decent price would you post up where you found it? There's a steel place out here in Lancaster but it was pretty expensive there. I forget the exact price but I'm thinking it was $4/foot and you had to buy it in 16 or 20' sections. I just need about 10' of .75x.75 or even 1x1.
TimTaylor751647545500
I know Lowe's sells sections of 1x1, but I need a bit larger size for what I'm building. Whatever I find, I'll post up the figures.

evan9381
Tim, give me a day or so, I was looking for all different sizes when I was going to have grant (gmoney) build me a hitch rack for my bikes...I found about a half dozen places that sold all different sizes. I'll have to go through my email to look around though
