So I drove an '04 WRX wagon and it was really nice to get back in my S4 after the test drive. Thinking I may need to consider the newer WRX hatches to get what I want. I'd say it's between an B7/B8 s line sedan or newer WRX hatch at this point. While I don't HAVE to have a hatch, I do want AWD and manual.

Here's a turbo 5-banger that looks pretty nice, and cheap, but the lackings will most likely make you feel the same way when you sit back down in the S4.

real nice 335xi here.. may want to find a carfax for it though, as most I've found under $20k have a history.
