Trans Am Left Headlight Dead

If its the gears it will groan and make noise because the motor will still spin. If it does nothing check the fuses and the motor.

No noise, so it must not be the gears. Will try fuses first tomorrow when I get the car back, if not it has to be the motor?

It can be the gears if they are completely stripped out. That happened on my wife's trans am, the gear was completely trashed so it wasn't even making contact any more.

Ok, I'll change the fuse first, then check the gears if it's not that. Gears/fuse would be much cheaper than a new headlight motor, so I'm hoping that's what it is. The light didn't go up once about 2 weeks ago, then worked fine until its current state of not going up at all
