I do not think I want one of those as it never really seemed to do anything. I want something that I can use professional products with to buff out scratches and buff my vehicles. Cordell Posted September 21, 2013 Report Share Posted September 21, 2013 For general car waxing and polishing I have a decent random orbital. Nothing special but it makes waxing much easier. If you are trying to restore paint or remove bigger imperfections then you'll want a full on buffer, and while I've considered it my cars just don't need that kind of attention. We have a Dewalt at work that I've messed with a few times, and it works fine. I think when you get these kind of tools though, a decent tool and a really good user is all you need.
