Protection Posted October 1, 2013 Report Share Posted October 1, 2013 Flashing CEL, Smoke at all rpms EXCEPT in AFM. I know cylinders 1 4 6 7 or AFM cylinders. I am thinking the is still active on cylinder 6 full time. Stuck or something. I also had the code for the oil pressure switch yesterday, replaced it.. Cleared the code and hasn't came back. The p0306 code for the misfire is still there though. I changed that plug (oil fouled) and still no difference. The engine makes a noise at idle and idle only almost sounds top end and like a metal plate is loose. I knew I should have got AFM tuned out sooner. Protection Posted October 1, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 1, 2013 Well getting the AFM tuned out fixes the oil consumption, but im figuring I might be too late.. since I have no moneys for expensive tune. but its not burning oil in the 100+ miles ive driven it since ive noticed it. still around the same level.
