Turbs3000
We use Carl Zipf for everything at work, though I don't know how his rates compare to residential averages.

jeffro
Why not just go to home depot and buy and install the locks yourself? Yes, ill be that guy.
Farkas
Why not just go to home depot and buy and install the locks yourself? Yes, ill be that guy. I used nice locks that would cost me far more than it would to just have them re-keyed. Looking around I found that some of the retail stores like Home Depot and Lowes will re-key the locks if you bring them in. I'll be looking into this. I just hate calling a stupid locksmith out for something I could do myself if I had the means to cut keys and change tumblers.
Doc1647545523
If you're having lock work done, I'd suggest upgrading to heavier springs to make the locks bump-resistant. I think a locksmith charged me something like $12 per lock for the heavier springs, but I felt it was worth it to make it harder for a thief to break-in. You'd think they'd offer this routinely, but I guess they don't. dakotart
I installed the Kwikset brand with Smartkey. I can rekey when ever I feel like it without changing the lock. Don't even have to take them apart. Something like this one, but I think mine have antibump and better security than this entry level set. http://www.amazon.com/Kwikset-Cylinder-Deadbolt-featuring-SmartKey/dp/B004EPYSH8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1383157002&sr=8-4&keywords=kwikset
