harmonda Posted November 26, 2013 Report Share Posted November 26, 2013 Hey all. I have my 2010 MB GLK350 over at the dealer right now. It was shuddering during accelleration and thumping when turning either direction. They suspect the transfer case which is built into the tranny. They haven't got back to me yet but I am anticipating a huge estimate. Is there an alternative to the dealer anyone could recommend? Someone that may be able to replace the clutchpacks in the transfer case and help me avoid the complete replacement? Or at least somewhere that could swap with a rebuild unit and save me some cash. He can tell you upfront what he can and cannot do and also what he would recommend. The staff there is top notch.
