ive bought a few new vechiles in the past month and figured I will share.

first up. a 98 Cobra. this one is pretty stock. all it has is a pro kit, caster camber plates and the wheels, which im still not sure I like them or not. plans for this one are simple to start. going to add an exhaust, shifter, sway bars, tune and get another set of wheels to put some sticky tires on and see how it does for auto cross.

next up is a 05 Grand Cherokee limited. hemi loaded. has it all. very nice suv and will serve as a Daily Driver rather nice. has nav but is missing the nav disk. got to find out what it is I need to get that working. now onto a few pictures.

first the cobra

The 4v cars love a 4.30 gear and spray. Looks like it's only lowered in the front, I imagine you'll want to do something about that if autocross is your plan.

I'm thinking about going with 3.73's has pro kit with isolatos

Add some 4:10 or 4:30 gears to that list and you'll have fun with the Cobra... ;)

Won't 4.30's turn over 3k at 70?

Take the towtruck autocrossing instead.

That would be interesting.

3:73's aren't enough for the DOHC engine, you'll hate them. 4:10's minimum and 4:30's if you keep it N/A.

No, should be 77mph with 4:30's and 3k RPM, 64mph at 2,500... http://www.paladinmicro.com/pmicro.php?frm=PalMWks001.htm#

Remember you will launch it around 4,000 and shift at 6,200-6,500ish when N/A stock engine..

ryan i had 4.30's in the mach1 and then traded them out for 4.56 then the blower made me shift into 5th in the 1/4 and dropped back down to 4.10.s do 4.30's you WILL NOT REGRET IT>>> by far my best na bolt on... i had done ported intake, intake spacer, cold air, exhaust catless hpipe and the gears had a better set of the pants feel than all the others put together.

Hm. Don't plan to do boost for this car. Will focus more on the suspenion then I will anything. Basic bolt ons but want the most out of the car. Want to see as close to 300 wheel as I can. With 4.10's would I be close to 2,500 at 65?

That's easy to do, and with 4:10's 67mph is 2,500rpm (stock tires)... ;)
