zeitgeist57
http://www.autoblog.com/2014/02/14/michael-schumacher-beats-pneumonia-still-comatose/ WELL, that was fast! Just hope he makes it through. Even if he's in a state of reduced mental capacity, this world is for the living.
Bigbird
Awesome! I've heard it's semi-common for coma patients though. Since they can't clear their lungs, the mucus tends to build up and cause issues. Still great that he's past that issue.
El Karacho1647545492
GOOD NEWS EVERYONE Long road to what little chance for recovery there is, and I doubt he'll ever truly recover, but it's good to see he took a slight step in the right direction rather than the wrong one. Sturg1647545502
GOOD NEWS EVERYONE Long road to what little chance for recovery there is, and I doubt he'll ever truly recover, but it's good to see he took a slight step in the right direction rather than the wrong one. Obviously I don't know anything about Schumacher's case but if it's as it sounds...just let the guy die. Life is precious and that jazz but looking at his lifestyle up until the accident you can't imagine he would want to continue life in his current state. Like the other morning, had a young (60 yo) lady come into the ED unresponsive, looking like a stroke. In 15 minutes she was sedated, intubated "stabilized" and on her way to CT where it was confirmed...massively bad bleed...GIANT subarachnoid hemorrhage. At that point there is no saving her quality of life. Call the chaplain, get the family in to say their goodbyes and just end it. I've got to imagine that Schumacher, like every other pro racer, has had conversations with his loved ones about his wishes in a situation like this.
