cybe
I switched from Verizon to Sprint, and there's really no excuse for how poor my data speeds are. (0.21mbps/0.08mpbs.) I'm thinking of switching out to T-Mobile. Are you satisfied? Got experience or a speedtest to share?
CRed05
There was a whole thread on this... But here's a speedtest screenshot I have from a few week ago:

airwg2189
That's your wifi, Jason. Nonetheless, that ping is impressive.
jeffro
Dont be fooled by jackasses post. Those speeds are limited to a very small area within columbus. If you are outside the outerbelt you can forget it. Swtich back to VZW. We just switched to them from sprint and couldnt be happier. We were getting those same DL speeds from sprint. Bigbird
Never letting go of my grandfathered unlimited Verizon plan...NEVER!
Nickey4271647545519
No complaints about my LTE service from Sprint. Here's a screenshot of speeds here in Sunbury.
MrMeanGreen
T-Mobile is very impressive, even outside the outerbelt. Lemme know if you'd like to discuss further or see my multiple speed tests.
Buckeye1647545503
I love t Moble especially since I saved 70-80 a month
cybe
Just ran speed tests on mine and the wife's S4. Hers is bone stock in an Otterbox, mine's all rommed up on KitKat nightly and caseless and we're both tapping out at ~.4Mbps down with a few bars of 4G. I'm inside 270 between Polaris and Easton. Fuck it, we're bailing out tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback.
wnaplay1647545503
You cant beat tmobile for price. We have 8 smart phones with unlimited everything for a total bill of $200 before taxes. Of course none of the phones are financed.
2 Sweet
I love T-Mobile, but there's no denying that their data/coverage out in BFE is fucking terrible. It has improved quite a bit over the years though
JaSSon
How many threads have we had on here about Sprint sucking, and you still switch? You better hurry up and cancel inside your trial period (or whatever Sprint calls it) before you're stuck paying an ETF. Adding insult to injury: You're paying an additional $10/month "Premium Data" charge for those dial up speeds.
smokinHawk1647545499
using straight talk (uses at&t towers) i get 12mgs down in columbus 4g lte. service has been better than verizon. unlimited talk, text and technically unlimited data, but only get 2.5 gigs high speed data a month. $49 a month and that includes taxes. staywide8
And this is why I love my verizon. Not even the fastest test for me. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff61/staywide8/Screenshot_2014-01-16-08-47-06.png
smokinHawk1647545499
lol when i had verizon i was only getting 0.23 meg download. service was horrible!!!
staywide8
That test is definately duplicatable. The note 3 has band 4 though, which is lte advanced
PRD2BDF
Tempted to switch from verizon to anything else. I keep going way over my 2gb data usage and i don't even stream or download anything. Just the basic car forum viewing
Orion
I and my family will be leaving Verizon come Feb. Sick of paying as much for their service as I am for my car. Been a fan of T-MO since I worked there back in the day. Will probably land there.
bdhill
anyone tried straight talk? sprint sucks for sure, but the 4g in parts of Cols is decent...pulls 12-16mbps. I am ready to bail for a mtm no contract plan-there will be lots of new options in the next few years...
vonrottes
Been with t-mobile for years... Always had good speeds and coverage. With my old Amaze 4G it got like 13-15mbps on HSPA+ in Hilliard With my new HTC One I get http://25.media.tumblr.com/d23bd94055e099a99d1aa2ad04bcc5d2/tumblr_mz6w5vrevo1suerqbo2_250.png again in hilliard. I've had LTE everywhere I've been lately except Dublin My ONLY complaint with T-mobile is I get a lot of data disconnects. Like at first I just thought it was my old phone... but no I guess it's just the network.
