Just like the last thread, we got 2 new cars so the old ones have to go!

The best thing about this car? I'm the second owner!

Why does that matter you ask? Because I personally know the first owner I can guarantee this car wasn't owned by a stripper. That make's this car one of a kind!

The good; runs, new battery mid 2012, new tires IIRC last year sometime.

The bad, lots of little quirks.

Has trouble starting sometimes, will work fine for a week or 2 and then just not start. Haven't been able to track the culprit down and am now not interested in fixing it. Everything seems to come on except for the starter doesn't do anything. If you remove the relay and 'jump' the starter, then replace the relay, it will then start up just fine.

HVAC. Fan only blows on high. Pretty sure it's the blower motor resistor. I already have the part and it will come with the car. The A/C was working just ok, but the pulley started rattling like crazy so I just got a non A/C belt.

Some rust around the rear. Clear peeling everywhere. See pics below. Only the rust on the passenger side is shown, it's worse than the drivers side.

Cruise Control doesn't work. The cable is disconnected at the throttle body. You can reconnect it and it works fine, but it will just come undone again relatively quickly.

Oil leaks, about 1/2 quart every 3kmi. Mostly from the oil pan gasket, but a little from the valve cover gasket. I have both parts and the car will come with both, but not installed.

Rear breaks need done. Again, I have both rear drums and pads, car will come with them.

I had the passenger seat out something heavy in the car. Had to come to a quick stop and it hit the shift lever which moved it forward. The car goes into all gear positions well, but the indicator is off. Additionally it won't go far enough into park to release the key, so it's stuck in the cylinder. I just use another key for the door.

Check Engine lamps; EVAP codes. I replaced the gas cap already with no help.

Service, ABS and TRAC. Some issue with the ABS/TCS system. They just don't work.

A long list but I wanted to be through. Again, the car runs just fine and I drove it back and forth 40 miles each way to work until I got a new car, mostly due to no A/C since it's a must for me.

I'll forward this on to someone looking for a cheap car.

And does anyone else remember the kid that used to come out to the meets at Kroger on broad street in the blue sunfire with no hood? Every time I see one of these cars, that's what pops into my head.

Well, this was his wife's car, not his.

I haven't come that close to spitting coffee on my laptop in a long time. Thanks guys.

Bump, took this thing for a drive just to go through a warming cycle and knock the rust off of the rotors from it sitting. Started right up like it usually does and drives great as always. I'm still surprised about how well this thing drives going down the highway.

Come pick this thing up!

Throwing this thing up on Craigslist in a few minutes.....
