1993 Yellow RX7 R1 Body (Fully caged)

2002 SS LS1 Motor (30k miles on it)

T56 6 speed

Hinson conversion kit

Aluminum dash

Race seat

Tein coilovers

Interior is gutted

Front clip is fiberglass and a bit rough, and rest of exterior of car is 6 out of 10, no rust just a lot of little defects (rear deck had wing removed, door bottom is wavey etc)

I got all the paperwork and receipts.

Still need to wire up turn signals, and stop light, once that is complete, theoretically it can be used on the street...during the day due to no head lights (also have stock headlights, just not installed)

Built to drive to drag strip (5 miles away) and race.

But it really would be considered a race only car.

Got it running last summer. Have not taken to track or drag strip yet.

Now with 2 kids, I have no time. Honestly I enjoy building cars more then driving them, wouldnt be the first time I finished a build and lost interest in driving the car.

Have just over $25k into everything. Looking to get $14,900

Here are some more additional details about the RX7/LS1:

Delrin bushings at all suspension points (18 in total)

All new pillow bushings (very expensive to replace)

Engine brace mounting by Hinson (Mounts by Prothane)

Exhaust Headers, mid, and exhaust by Hinson

Denso Supra Fuel Pump motor

Battery cut off switch on pass side cage

Racepak digital dash

Odyssey PC680 (15lbs vs 38lbs OEM)

Battery Box and On/Off Switch mounted in Pass Front

ABS is still hooked up

ECU modified to give performance upgrade

LS1 was not modified internally, all stock

Underdrive pulley was installed with new belt

Best guess the car probably weighs 2500lbs.

Needs to have alignment tweeked...did a manual method and was good enough for my trips around the country block.

Momo seat with 5 point harness

I have a ton of suspension parts that will go with it. Upper, lower, A Arms, brake booster, brake calipers, rotors, and on and on.

I also have some drag radials I will throw in that will mount to stock rims. The rims are flaking a bit, and will need to be repainted if your concerned with that.

Nothing $10 of spray and some prep time cant take care of.

I put every bolt and wire into this car, and was pretty meticulous about it. All will have a paint marker on all bolts that were torqued. As with any hybrid there was a ton of fabrication and mounting. I understand I wont see a penny for the hundreds of hours I spent in the shop putting it together.

Car has some serious race heritage, it was originally Brad Barbers car, the son of Skip Barber. Then Fritz Flynn bought it from him, then I bought it. So the rolling chassis has seen some good track time, and is why the cage is an extremely robust race cage.

Built to drive to drag strip (5 miles away) and race.

But it really would be considered a race only car.

Got it running last summer, and Im ready to sell for my next project.

It will become a roller in August if not sold.

Trades...why not...trade me something I can sell faster than this car ;)

I've had 6 FC's but never an FD.

I love it. Wavey door and all.

It'd keep my in the same chassis class as well.

How much minus engine but with T56?
