wnaplay1647545503 Posted March 12, 2014 Report Share Posted March 12, 2014 Trying to replace the rear wheel bearing on my sons 98 a4. Cannot get the axle bolt to break loose. wnaplay1647545503 Posted March 12, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 12, 2014 Ok got it out now the last 2 things holding me up is the lower control arm bolt, the nut is off but the bolt won't budge. wnaplay1647545503 Posted March 13, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 13, 2014 Finally got the one side apart and put together with a little help from Derek who pressed in the new bearing for me. Decided to go ahead and put new rear rotors and pads on both sides. Get over to the other side and found the bracket that holds the top of the strut to the body is completely fucked.
