Love the styling. Not all cookie cutter.

I was just looking at a '78ish Monte Carlo, and remarked to myself that the styling really was very nice considering the rolling appliances of today. Granted, it was stamped out of pig iron and put together by drunk McBapies...

If there was an easier way to smooth out the front and rear steel bumpers, I'd have a lot more love for cars even from the 70s...

HOT ROD Magazine featured a 1973? Pontiac LeMans that some dude did roll pans front and rear. Combined with a Pro Touring slammed stance with Cragar Soft 8s, it was a hell of a looker.

That is why I think the prices of late 70's and 80's cars is going to start to rise. They arent bad looking cars if you do a little restyling to them and if you add some power to their smog choked engine bays they are fun to drive too. Also guys like me that are quickly becoming "old guys" have a connection to these cars. Don't get me wrong I love seeing the old muscle cars like the Shelby mustangs, GM's Yenko and COPO cars. and old Mopars but when I see a 78 Chrysler Cordoba I remember the camping trips, riding to Florida in the back seat, the sound of that 4 bbl carb trying to suck the hood in on that 400 cid big block. Hell I still always have my eyes open for an old Cordoba, between them and my like of Mustang II's you can tell I'm one sick individual. lol
