Drag radials and rims questions?

2010 Camaro 2SS with 20 inch rims. Stock tire size 275/40-20.

Looking at drag radials to help on my hook. Tires for my stock rim I am looking at $375 per being some Nittos :(.

So I found these being a Vette 17 inch replica rim:

For 17 inch rims in the tire size I would need I am looking at $184 per tire. Rims, to buy the ones above, are $78 per rim. Plus shipping so with everything it is a few $s more than what i can afford right now.

I have a top end budget of $600. Can I use old steel rims or is the weight too high? Any rims I can score cheaper being new or used?

To my understanding a 5th gen has a metric bolt battern of 5x120, so technically Vette wheels and the like with a 5x4.75 (5x120.65) may not just slide on like they are supposed to. If it were me I'd be looking into that. I doubt anything you find is going to be very cheap.
