Ricer Sundays

A group here in Houston called Mayday Garage holds this gathering every Sunday that focuses on sports cars from the 80's and 90's. It's a very chill meet that always has unique cars so I thought I'd share these from last Sunday. Photos are all by David Do from Mayday Garage.

This happens to be the last 3000GT VR-4 imported to the United States and is still 100% stock.

Love it.

Where do you get yellow-letter tires like that 944 has? Motorsports? Did he paint them himself?

We could pull something like that off in Ohio...if it wasn't for the fact all the 80s/90s schtuff is rusted to shite. :gabe:

I believe he painted them himself.

Ive always just seen them painted on, i dont think you can order most normal tires with white/yellow/whatever lettering. I know some DR's and Slick's come with it painted (Least i believe so)

Dig it. The child seat in the FD is a bold move. No airbag in the 93 cars but my wife freaked out when I even mentioned doing it and I can only imagine the crap he gets from soccer moms on the road. More power to him though I bet his kid loves it.

Who cares. Shit I grew up with no seat belts let alone people using car seats or air bags. I spent many years riding in the back of pickup. lol Also, who cares what someone else thinks. (Except your wife becuz you have to live with her. ;)) As a joke, I used to walk out into a parking lot pretending to talk to our daughter in her carrier. Then, I'd spin it around upside in big circles making it seem like she was still in there just to watch people's ridiculous looks. Used to do shit like that all the time. haha Not a single person ever said a single damn word to me. Shame on them. lol My wife found it slightly embarrassing.

My wife's not the happiest that I take my kids in Cleetus ('82 Ford F100 regular cab...kids sit on the bench seat next to me), but to this day, regardless of the weather or where we're going, ask them which vehicle out of the 4 I have that they want to take.

Our Odyssey has a flippin' DVD player, and they'd rather ride in the tee-ruk...

Yeah it is, lol. The car is a 95 so I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I don't think it has a passanger air bag.

I love your RX7 man. One of my favorite cars on CR. That MR2 is awesome too

Thanks! Hopefully I will finish up the appearance this year. The wheels and wing are both stock options on the 3000GT.

94-95 cars had passenger airbags from the factory but with the amout of modifications he's done otherwise I'm sure it's gone. At least I really hope so.
