Snowflake
I just picked up a 2015 F-250 CC FX4 with the 6.2. Seems to have plenty of power for what I need it for but gas mileage probably won't be very good but I'm not worried about that. The truck is really quiet and drives pretty good for a 3/4 ton. I've ordered exhaust, CIA, and a 5Star tune to help wake it up some.

So they held a drag race event at altitude with their turbos vs the competition with N/A engines. Curious how the numbers stack up at sea level. Got-Boost?
I saw GM is offering 0% and $7500 in rebates. The only problem is currently they don't include LTZ or the more optioned trucks. The $8,500 rebate is on a Crew Cab LT All Star version and the $9,500 rebate is on Double Cab LT right now which are both base model V6 trucks. If they open that up to the Crew cab to include the LTZ and 6.2, can't really turn down that savings. Brand new Silverado LTZ Crew Cab with 6.2 for $34k would be a DEAL! :fuckyeah: So they held a drag race event at altitude with their turbos vs the competition with N/A engines. Curious how the numbers stack up at sea level. Even with the short parking lot and elevation it's going to be the same or maybe worse at sea level and a longer distance. Figure whatever the F150's run now minus half a second or more with the weight savings in the 1/4-mile!

Not Brian
I would take a 5.0 F-150 over the other junk any day based on zero knowledge nor research. But that interior looks amazing compared to the other two; which new, already look like they've been smoked in for 20 years.

Got-Boost?
Got to finally check them out today. Very nice trucks with a LOT of improvements and tech added. Seems to be built a LOT better than the old ones...

Coaster
I call bullshit on that MPG... It was on a trip from Circleville, OH to near Zanesville, OH best case really. I average about 21 normally. Closer to 11 while towing the camper...
El Karacho1647545492
I call bullshit on that MPG... Over 50mi of highway driving it's really not that hard to believe. I dig the new F-150 style. For some reason that interior really speaks to me. i like the consistency of the design, and especially the symmetric dash button layout. Got-Boost?
I hate the interior design...like the exterior though I thought that about the pics before hand but once looking at it in person and using the buttons/features it's much better than I thought and even the competition IMO. Very nice looking trucks, but I'll stay with my GM. If GM offers a crazy rebate I still like the new Silverado/Sierra with the 6.2 and 8-speed. If they don't reduce them I feel the Ford has some better gadgets and options for the price. I went GM, haven't regretted it for a second. 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L Obviously this wasn't while towing... They are good looking trucks, can't really go wrong with either! I have seen 19-20 in highway driving but nothing close to what you are reporting.

I have seen 19-20 in highway driving but nothing close to what you are reporting. The 5.3 is reworked for 2014. The mileage bump is a combination of direct injection and cylinder deactivation. Dad hauled the ExPauldition from C-ville to Jet Auto on a 2,500 lb trailer. ...got 19 MPG. :fuckyeah: Over 50mi of highway driving it's really not that hard to believe. I dig the new F-150 style. Coaster
Ford gets good MPG without losing the power. :gabe: It's not really losing power. It shuts off the cylinders when it can produce the requested HP without all 8 firing. People who have disabled it usually only lose about 2 MPG anyhow.
