mrhobbz
Does anyone happen to have an enclosed trailer i might be able to borrow to haul my crap to Myrtle Beach? I think a 6x12 or larger would work fine. I'd be willing to pay cash or let someone hold onto my mustang as collateral. Shouldn't need it for any longer than 3 days
Sledhead36
Uhauls are pretty inexpensive and you can leave it there.
mrhobbz
I was looking at a uhaul but they quoted me almost 1500 for a 6x12, thats the same price he was giving me to take one to Vegas. Is their pricing structure different from store to store?
mrhobbz
I called another uhaul locatiob and they said 600, looks like I just need to shop around
cstmg8
Strange, I didn't think it'd be that high. I have always booked online.
Gergwheel1647545492
just rent it from uhaul for 3 days and then return it to the same location you pick it up from? http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=445&pictureid=7908
spankis
One way uhaul ( drop it off at destination ) is a lot more expensive than using it and returning I believe. Maybe consider that I'd you have a reason to make another trip back for anything. ^^^ Gerg beat me to it
SRTurbo04
For that kind of money just buy a used one off craigslist. Buy it, use it, when your done sell it for what u have in it so its practically free, or keep it. Enclosed or open? 2 seconds on craigslist. Im surw with a little work can find a steal. Here's a brand new open trailer http://limaohio.craigslist.org/bfd/4664894497.html if u want enclosed or higheer sides get some wood and fabricate it should be cheap ( see the landscapers on here do this) Edited October 28, 2014 by Paul
POS VETT
I agree with Greg. If you're planning to return to Columbus to pick up your Mustang anyway, return the trailer to the origin. A trailer doesn't have an odometer and rental rate is time-based, not mileage.
BIGGU
If you can afford it just buy one off craigslist use it for your need and then put it back for sale.
Bam
Or rent a Penske and tow the mustang down with it and do it all in one trip? I rented a Penske 26' truck (the biggest they have) and moved from San Antonio to Columbus last year. The rental was around $400 but once I added the insurance it was about $600 all in. Screw spending $1500 on a uhaul trailer.

I've got it figured out at this point
